Helen is based in Austin, Texas, with an M.F.A. in Creative Nonfiction from the University of Texas at El Paso and a B.A. in Rhetoric and Writing from the University of Texas at Austin. Her work has appeared in Psst! Magazine, The Sappho Diaries, and CityAlchemist.co. Her background includes time as a U.S. Army combat medic and a professional dominatrix. She is an immigrant with a love for Indigenous spirituality and dark stories.
